Just Drag & Drop your files. Files format must be compatible with your player. Please check your user manual for compatible format.

- How to take music from a CD and transfer it to the Mp4 player?
You can not download directly from CD to your player as CD TRACKING format is not supported by the player OS
1. you need to RIP your CD files to your PC using Windows Media Player application.
2. once you have the CD contents transferred to your PC, you will be able to drag & drop those files to your player.
you may use the CONVERTER software include on the player CD instead of Windows Media Player if you want.

It is a PLUG AND PLAY media player, meaning you don't have to go through the hassle of iTunes. All you need is to connect it to a PC and then drag and drop. The player automatically arranges the files according to their type (i.e., an MP3 file will go under MUSIC, while a video file will go under MOVIE). {this feature not available on all models}

Download files from the internet to your pc, then transfer it to your player. Files format must be compatible with your player. Please check your user manual for compatible format.

Try plugging in the player, then right click to bring up a menu. Click on properties. Under the properties menu, check the format, it should be FAT not FAT32. If it will give you a drop down on the format menu, change the format to FAT.

- How come the battery life of my mp4 is much less than stated in the specifications?
This is because your battery is not fully charged. To fully charge the mp4, turn off the mp4 and leave the mp4 plugged to the USB port for about 8 hours. This is the fastest way to charge it. It can also be charged while turned on, however, it will not be able to charge to 100%, only up to about 90% after 8 hours.
Note: do not use USB mode to charge. USB mode will drain power instead of charging it due to the HDD spining all the time and draining more power than the USB port can supply, therefore draining the battery.

- How can I prevent data corruption or hard disk failure?
Whenever you finished transferring files from the computer to the mp4 device, always use Safety Remove Hardware before pulling the USB plug on the mp4. This will properly shut down the flash drive, ensuring all your files are safe and will prevent premature flash drive failure.

- Can the build-in battery be changed?
Yes and No. To access the battery, the entire mp4 player has to be taken apart including the flash drive and PCB boards. This will void the warranty if any damage is made, ie customer will be liable for repair charges incurred. In addition, the battery used inside is not generally available. (Maybe with the exception of battery repack shops) Unless you are a professional in this area or know what you are doing, it is best to send it back to us if you need to buy a new battery. Having said that, under normal use, the battery should last at least one year.

- How many movies can be stored on the 2GB Mp3/Mp4 player?
It's based on the movie file resolution and the length
EXAMPLE:
30 min. movie file with 320x240 resolution may = 100MB (2GB = 600min.)
60 min. movie file with 160x120 resolution may = 100MB (2GB = 1200min.)
10 min. movie file with 800x600 resolution may = 300MB (2GB = 66min.)
You should be able to choose your file resolution size when you convert your file to Mp3/Mp4 format.
1.8" Mp4 screen is 160x120 resolution. It is up to you which resolution you would to use.

- Player play music or video for just 10 seconds only and rebated the same with any file, any advice?
This is not defected player, player is just set to "intro" mode, so, it's scan the player contains and play the first 10 seconds of each file and skips to the next file, all you need it just switch to play mode, that's set, to do so, During file play, click MENU > select REPEAT (should be already selected, so just click menu again) > select NORMAL, that's set
